Overview

Caves, pearls and beach, one of the most precious treasures of Mallorca. Drach and Hams Caves are the most spectacular underground beauties in Mallorca and offer you an unforgettable natural show. The Drach Caves are among the most visited in Europe and many consider them the 8th Wonder of the World. The Lake Martel, one of the largest underground lakes in the world, is the scene of a classical music program. The inside temperature is very pleasant and constant throughout the year: 21 Celsius. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes during the visit. Approximately 1 hour of travel inside the caves. Entrance included in the tour price. Majorica produces high quality pearls for more than a hundred years. The organic pearls are famous worldwide and it is almost impossible to distinguish them from the natural ones. The visit to the factory shop is an opportunity to make yourself or your dear ones a special original gift.

Porto Cristo

The name Port de Manacor/Porto Cristo, meaning "The Port of Manacor/The Port of Christ" given to it back in 1260 AD at the time of the Christian invasion of Mallorca, A fishing boat was found washed up on the beach containing a crucifix. Legend has it that an ox was carrying an icon of God through the town, and the ox stopped and refused to walk anymore. Hence the people saw this as a sign and the name was derived from that belief it was a clear sign that Christ wanted to be here.

Made in Manacor, Majorica produces high quality pearls for more than a hundred years. The organic pearls are famous worldwide and it is almost impossible to distinguish them from the natural ones. The visit to the factory shop is an opportunity to make yourself or your dear ones a special original gift.

Cuevas del Drach

The Drach Caves are among the most visited in Europe and many consider them the 8th Wonder of the World. The Lake Martel, one of the largest underground lakes in the world, is the scene of a classical music program. The inside temperature is very pleasant and constant throughout the year: 21 Celsius. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes during the visit. Approximately 1 hour of travel inside the caves. Entrance included in the tour price.

Our Tour begins in Camí de la Escollera in front of the Cathedral of Palma. Palma was founded as a Roman camp upon the remains of a Talaiotic settlement. The city was subjected to several Vandal raids during the fall of the Western Roman Empire, then reconquered by the Bizantine Empire, then colonised by the Moors (who called it Medina Mayurqa) and, in the 13th century, by James I of Aragon.

Caves were nice but music show at the end was overcrowded and the boat ride had long lines so we just left.

Great day out. Worth every penny. The classical music in the caves was very moving. Our Tui rep was very informative and made it fun.

Nice caves

Wonderful excursion to the caves, they pick you up near your hotel if it does not coincide with the established stops. Much better than renting a car, the traffic in Palma de Mallorca is horrible.

Cool caves

Very cool caves. Worth it I recently went on a tour of some amazing caves, and it was a fantastic experience. The caves were cool, both in temperature and in how impressive they were. Stalactites and stalagmites created a mesmerizing atmosphere as we wandered through the winding passages. The kids were especially thrilled, their excitement growing with each new discovery. They were fascinated by the natural formations and enjoyed learning about how the caves were formed over thousands of years. It was a unique adventure that combined education with fun, making it a memorable experience for the whole family.

We stayed on the east side of the island, so we did not utilize the hotel pickup, but we were able to park in a garage close by the meeting spot. It was a little confusing because there were many buses there, and everyone else was going to the caves, but different excursions.
