Overview

Your guide will meet you at your hotel and then the journey begins through the city of Edinburgh. Exploring Edinburgh by car gives you the best way to view some of Edinburgh's best bits in just one day. The tour will drive you through Edinburgh's Old Town, New Town and tell of how these two burghs formed into the Edinburgh we have today. Great architecture, history and culture will be covered during this tour. The tour ventures just outside Edinburgh to view the River forth and the Forth Bridges, the rail bridge holds the record of being the worlds longest cantilever bridge. There will be opportunities to stop and view attractions from outside the vehicle where available.

This was our first visit to Scotland and it was spectacular. We booked Edinburgh Tour Guides for 4 days. Each day we were greeted promptly at the appointed time and were on the go from there. I had mobility issues and both Sam and Steve were so accommodating. While they organized the general daily activities, there was always time if . For us it was afternoon tea at the Royal Yacht Britannia and the amazing horse sculpture, Kelpies. Everything was well thought out and interesting. At the end of the 4 days, Sam gifted both of us bars of her special homemade organic soaps. That goes above and beyond!!! I would recommend Edinburgh Tour Guides without hesitation.
