Great museum and jewelry store. Jhon was awesome guide and very knowledgeable about the emeralds of Columbia. Would recommend for a quick museum visit (and nice air conditioning)

this is a wonderful museum. the shop has excellent costumer service. do not buy your emeralds anywhere else in Cartagena. everything comes with guarantee and repair availability for years! excellent!

Information tour with the option for an English speaking tour guide. She provided so many interesting details of emeralds and Columbia's history with them. The museum is full of historical artifacts dating back to BC times. It’s amazing to see how this beautiful stone has been incorporated into the culture throughout history. We definitely benefited from our guide’s knowledge of history and the gem itself. The store was amazing; the guide continued to share her expertise in their stock. I was looking for something that matched a ring I inherited. She guided me to the perfect earrings. I don’t think I would have selected them without her encouragement. I look forward to coming back next year to expand my jewelry collection.
