Overview

Enjoy the most complete day trip in Cartagena touring different islands and beaches in Baru and Rosario Islands, located just one hour by speedboat from Cartagena, 45 minutes from Cartagena. Blue waters, white sand and impressive coral reefs is the perfect mix for a sunny day at the beach. Enjoy the beach club located on isla grande called playa encantada where you can enjoy all its facilities and will be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, you can also decide if you want to snorkel for free at no additional cost, we will visit isla cholon better known as the party island where there will be lots of boats and music. Then we will go to a beach club in Baru called Mambo Beach Club Baru where you will take your lunch with many options you have a limited lunch voucher you pay extra for special dishes like lobster, seafood casserole, and seafood casserole.

We will be at the private dock all sea, a team member will be there waiting for you, please be there at 7:30 am we are leaving at 8:00 am (15 minutes max waiting time).

  • Fuerte de San Fernando de Bocachica

    we will arrive at the island of tierra bomba where we will make an excursion to the fort of san fernando where the natives will tell us a little bit of the history of what they lived in the colonial era

  • Isla Grande

    The snorkeling activity will take place once we arrive at our first destination called Encantada Beach Club where our guides will give you the instructions for those who wish to do the activity.

  • Isla Grande

    Enjoy the beach club located in isla grande called encantada beach where you can enjoy all its facilities and you will be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink.

    This will be our stop at Cholon Island known as the party island where there will be many boats and music set on the island.

  • Isla Baru

    Playa Blanca in Barú will be the last island. In this island you will eat the lunch and after gonna spend the rest of the day in the beach, relaxing and swimming

Amazing tour

Everything was amazing even though the boat ride was a bit bumpy. Besides that, I totally recommend! Everyone was super nice and made it a fun trip!

Island Hopping with Mike

We had an great time. Our guide Mike was simply amazing, He was so personable, very helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. Mike definitely made this experience worth it. The island hopping tour was exactly like the advertisements. I will advise that on the actual islands you pay close attention to your belongs, your surrounds, and your charges if you use a card especially if you do not speak fluent Spanish. Some of the locals can be extremely aggressive and persistent. And some of the guys seemed to be too touchy feely.

Franklin, the captain, and the other nice guy were professional and made sure we got the best out of each island. They paid close attention to everyone to make sure we always got what we needed. They gave us shots and even let us be on the aux! We stopped at an historic fort/“small mouth”;Super informative for my history nerds&curious minds. Food at Cholon island was amazing, the drinks were nice as far as presentation…alcohol wise of course they may use a cheaper liquor or make it a bit weak so you can buy more. Baru beach was nice and the water was beautiful. Be prepared for the people who are selling hookah, massages, jet skis, banana boat, jewelry etc; they WILL continue to ask you to buy something the whole time. We were super tired and definitely feel like we got our moneys worth. The boat ride to Baru Beach island was a bit choppy so be prepared; bring your Dramamine. The food that was included was actually pretty good to our surprise. Great time, memories made would 10/10 recommend you get some of everything.

Cesar was our guide! He’s an absolute legend! Had a hard time deciding whether to go on this boat or another party boat that was offered honestly this was the better decision. We never overstayed any location all the islands we’d beautiful our guides were knowledge able and made sure we were well taken care of. Definitely made for a 10/10 experience. Definitely make space for it on your visit to Cartegena!
