Authentic and Tasty hidden gems

Born and bred in Fort Kochi, Biju will tailor the tour to your preferences. Very local and authentic food. You aren't going to find them on a YouTube or tiktok video. These are recommendations from someone living here. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Biju himself will chat and share stories of his neighborhood.

Biju met us at the tour office, from there we headed into the streets of fort kochi in his tuk tuk. Biju was very thoughtful and discussed our food preferences, the tour felt tailor made this way. He knew all the best local spots. Biju is a truly passionate, local guide. Highly recommend!

Biju takes you on a culinary adventure through the back streets of Fort Kochi. Not only does he enlighten you about the food of this area, he also is vey forthcoming about the languages, religions and history of the area. Biji is super friendly and fun.

If you want to go on an amazing food tour in Kochi, then look no further than Bijus Food Tour as you really won’t be disappointed in any way. Biju took us in his tuk tuk to a variety of small family run restaurants or shops to enable us to experience delicious Keralan food. We’d opted for the vegetarian tour & literally everything he chose for us was brilliant; food that we’d never had back in the UK. Biju checked how spicy we like our food which was helpful! We began with either an avocado or mango smoothie which quite simply were delicious. We then went on to have a variety of vegetarian dishes & refreshing drinks. We watched poppadums being made-those we have back home will never match up! Throughout the tour we chatted with Biju about Keralan food; he was fun, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We’d thoroughly recommend this tour. Booking and communication was easy!

Such a fun and delicious food tour! We got full so quickly - save room because there’s so much to try and it’s all delicious!! Biju is super knowledgeable and knows just about everyone in town. 10/10 recommend!!!
