Then visit Hokitika Gorge, which is a popular tourists spot with the vibrant blue water and tranquil setting, a must do on the West Coast.

The Gorge is an easy walk and not too busy if you get there early. The treetop has a steep hill to start but gets easier.

Many interesting viewpoints along the way. The gorge walk was though, but worth It. The treetop walkway gives the impression of being in another world... I would've preferred the two to be separate exploration activities though...a bit tough on those who don't have the time or the inclinación to tackle both in one go.
