Itinerary

  • Luxor Temple

Luxor Temple, which is dedicated to the Theben Triad of Amun-Ra, Mut and Khonsu. There you will see the granite statues of Ramses the Great. These ancient temples are a must-see for Luxor travelers.

    1 hour

  • Tomb of Ramses III

The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity, the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

    15 minutes

  • Tomb of Ramses IV

.The tomb of Ramses IV (KV 2) in the Valley of the Kings is rather different than most other tombs built here. This tomb is by far the most spectacular of the other tombs you will see. The hieroglyphics on the wall depict scenes from the Litany of Ra, Book of the Dead, Book of Caverns, the Book of the Heavens, Book of Amduat, and the Book of the Night. The blue and white colors on the walls inside the burial chamber are very vibrant and you can see the king's sarcophagus made of rose-colored granite. There is also a beautiful scene of goddess Nut on the ceiling, where she is depicted swallowing the sun, and it traveling through her stomach, for Nut to give birth to it. The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.

    15 minutes

  • Tomb of Merenptah

.In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor .Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of coursethere is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs .

    15 minutes

  • Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari

After visiting the tombs you will be transported to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari), the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh. This queen was an ancestor of King Tutankhamun and belonged to the same dynasty. Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh .

    1 hour 30 minutes

  • Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon, the two largest ancient statues in Egypt, which date back to the era of King Amenhotep III.

    20 minutes

  • Temple of Karnak

Karnak Temple , you visit what is considered to be one of the world's greatest architectural masterpieces, namely the complex of Karnak Temples on the East Bank of Luxor. Karnak is a complex of temples built in different reigns, starting with the Avenue of Sphinxes, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis I, the Temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake. 15 minutes

Great tour. Pleasant guide. Good knowledge

Published on Oct, 2024

It was a great tour. We also enjoyed the pleasant guide of Mohammed. His English and Spanish was good, and we learned a lot from his knowledge of the history Egypt . We recommend Mohammed as guide. The local food was also delicious.

Thank you Mohamed for an amazing experience in Luxor

Published on Feb, 2023

By far my favourite tour company that I used in Egypt. Thank you Mohamed for coordinating this tour and offering other tours to us which we also signed up for, such as a balloon ride over Luxor. Mohamed also arranged a ride for my one daughter and her friend to the airport as they had to leave a few days early. Mohamed made it all happen and was always kind and prompt to respond via what's app....Thank you Mohamed. A full day of learning and experiencing Egypt's ancient sites around Luxor. We had the most wonderful tour guide, Ali. Ali is a true teacher; kind, calm and an all around amazing person. His knowledge and passion was evident, and shone through to us, brightening our day and even in teaching my daughter some hieroglyphics. We are so appreciative. You helped make our experience in Luxor amazing and authentic. Our driver was also very professional and we always felt safe. I would definitely recommend this this company for tours. One thing to point out is that they also have a stop to an alabaster factory and papyrus company to show you how products are made, but also with the intent to buy something. I told them I already experienced the papyrus company in Cairo so we did not stop. The alabaster factory is expensive so be prepared but I bought a few beautiful pieces after talking them down in price. If you do not want to go there just tell them no and they will take it off the trip.
