Definitely recomment a vehicle for just two! There's too much to see!

This is my third attempt to review so it will now be short! Highly recommend booking a tour for just two people in order to have the best opportunity to view the wildlife. This was our second time at Addo Elephant Nat'l Park and we saw several new animals the second time around. There is a huge difference between a National Park and a private game reserve. If you want to take your chances (but you will definitely see animals) go the Nat'l Park route, otherwise it's basically a zoo without bars. Our guide, Pardon, did a fabulous job of finding animals, including lions that were probably 1/4 - 1/3 of a mile away.

A day with the elephants

Being within metres of herds of elephants. Being a solo tourist with a extremely knowledgeable guide was great. The park is very impressive.

Magical experience

We had a wonderful time in this tour from the tour group Under African Skies ran by Teshni. We felt that team went above and beyond to make sure we are having a great time: the surprise coffee stop by the river with a bunch of treats while we are watching water buffalos across the river, amazing barbecue cooked right in front of us and at the end of the tour - a surprise gift! Really special experience, telling all my friends about it.

Great safari experience

Had a great time with Walter, he really brought Addo alive with his enthusiasm and great knowledge of the park and the animals in it. We went on two drives with him and he was always on time, always friendly and accommodating, and if he can’t find the game in Addo, no one can. Saw wonderful elephant herds, hartebeasts and loads of other antelopes, warthogs, jackals… the list goes on. Highly recommend Addo Travel centre.

Great animal sightings

We spent a great day with Walter at Addo Elephant Park. Walter gave us so much of his knowledge about the nature,animal but also the culture. It was a real pleasure to spend the day with him and watch the animals.
