Overview

This tour is Great Value for money. We take the shortest route into the park, travelling from the south through the park to the north to maximise your time in the park and get to see most of the wildlife. Your will be picked up at the harbour and will be brought back in good time for your departure. Please note that the vehicle type cannot be guaranteed as seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis. We attempt to allocate our 4x4 Landcruisers to these tours as soon as possible, however a seat on the 4x4 vehicle cannot be guaranteed. In this case you will be allocated to another tour vehicle as shown in the product gallery. Our guides are true professionals and will do everything in their power to make your day one to remember in this popular, malaria free, National Park. Itinerary

  • Addo Elephant National Park

    Meet and greet by Alan Tours guide at the quayside and depart for the malaria free Addo Elephant National Park, a mere 35 minutes drive from the city to the south entrance. After check in and a comfort break, we immediately start the game viewing experience in the tour vehicle. The park is home to close 700 free roaming Elephants and a wide variety of wildlife such as Zebra, Warthog, Ostrich, the elegant Kudu and many more including the traditional BIG 5, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Rhino, the unique flightless Dung beetle and of course the Elephants. Making our way through the park from south to north we stop for a comfort break at the picnic site in the park and stretching our legs. We then continue travelling north where we enjoy a light lunch at the park restaurant before once again heading south, game viewing all along the way in this world class facility before return to Port Elizabeth and drop off at the quayside in good time to board your ship.

Wet but wonderful

Fantastic day despite the rain Graeme made the most of trip and we saw a lot of animals very close up in many cases. The lunch was very nice in the camp restaurant. I enjoyed the interpretation centre and Graeme’s knowlege of plants and animal behaviour when i asked him questions. He was a good driver in difficult conditions and showed respect for the animals the park and other guides. We got a great understanding of the Eastern Cape and the animals and plants that live there I would highly recommend

Wonderful trip! A must see! Our tour guide Mervyn was personable and friendly, and knew all the spots to look for the elephants! Very educated about the park! Had an awesome time!

Fantastic safari, brilliant guide!! Malcolm knew so much and tried so hard to find all the animal species for us , many being elusive that day.. but he did it. …. From lions to dung beetles, elephants to warthogs. . The whole day (10 hours) was such good value for money and accommodated us exactly around our cruise ship schedule. I highly recommend this trip , especially if you are on a cruise. Thanks Malcolm, so much appreciated.

The company are really professional, the vehicles comfortable, we choose an open van and they even offered us blankets. Anthony our guide was amazing, so knowedgable being a Zoologist, we saw so many diverse animals, I cant recommend this company and Anthony more highly and value for money. Excellent.
