First and foremost, I want to say that Iguazú Falls is probably the best UNESCO World Heritage site I’ve ever visited. The way that the park is laid out and equipped makes it accessible for everyone, including wheelchairs. The Argentine side is pristinely clean. Cafes and restrooms are conveniently placed. And of course, the Falls are amazing.
Second, I need to give a shout out to Hector, our guide. Literally 1/2 hour before we got on the van to return to our hotels, my knee -out of nowhere- gave out and I couldn’t walk. Hector made sure I got a golf cart ride to the van pick up area, made sure I was dropped off at a local hospital, and got me through the check in process. I’m not sure I could have made it through that process without him.
