First time white water rafting and 10/10 recommend.

This was the first time that my brother and I had ever gone white water rafting, but it was awesome! At first I was a little bit nervous but when I saw the crew and how nice and friendly and professional they were I felt safe and ease. The rapids were really fun. Are trip included walking down 790 stairs to get into the gorge, and a cliff jump, rafting through a world pool, and getting to jump out and float through some of the more tame rapids. I was pulled under the boat once, but it only lasted a few seconds and I knew the crew would pull me out, which they did! Overall felt safe and was a very awesome experience. Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend and if I ever come back I would totally do it again. Our captain James and his crew were awesome and very professional. Thank you so much for an amazing time!

I had an amazing time on the river with James and the rest of the crew. Great scenery, great people, and very safe. As a solo traveler visiting in the rainy season, they were very accommodating to make sure my dream of rafting the Zambezi come true! The photos and videos I got were absolutely incredible. 10/10 would recommend again and I cannot wait to come back!

If you’re thinking about going whitewater rafting down the Zambezi river, stop thinking about it and just do it! And do it with Maano.! This was SO much fun! Capt. James and his entire crew were just amazing. Calmed some of the nerves a few members of our group had and showed us a great adventure. We swam, paddled, hiked a bit, laughed a lot and enjoyed snacks and lunch with the rafting crew. We never felt unsafe or uncomfortable, these are truly a bunch of the kindest, friendliest people you will meet during your travels. Another highlight of the day was driving back to our hotel, we picked up a bunch of little kids walking home from school on the dirt road back to their village. They all climbed into the back of the open truck with us and sang songs. A day we will not soon forget!

We did a day trip which did all 25 rapids. Guides were excellent and we had a wonderful day. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Well…. maybe a helicopter to fly us out.
