Our Ghost of Washington D.C. is our all-ages tour that sheds light on the capital's dark past. This tour will explore some of Capital Hills' most haunted historical sites and mentions poltergeists, assassination, historical architecture, and the dark past of our most prominent presidents.     You may have learned a pretty good bit about this place in your history class, but we are going to tell you what your teacher didn’t. This place is crawling with the restless dead. We’ve got everything from bloodstains on the staircase to the phantom of one infernal feline.

    George Eberhart once said that there are two reasons a library is haunted. The first is that the library was the scene of a tragedy. The second is that the former caretakers, librarians, and benefactors of the library are too attached to their collections to leave. Our guide was Rizzo, she was very informative. We enjoyed the beautiful architecture and the history. The only negative was that the White House view was mostly blocked with bleacher construction for the inauguration.

Allegra, our tour guide, was fantastic! We had so much fun! The tour was informative and very entertaining! We enjoyed learning about the haunts in our nation's capital. Allegra had a great sense of humor and kept everyone engaged.

The tour guide was the best. Bubbling with knowledge and humor and a touch of class, Allegra was the greatest guide I’ve had in any city. She reminded me of a theatrical student moving around like a marionette and spinning a vocabulary that had me quietly peeking at my thesaurus app when nobody was looking. She was amazing in a nutshell. She was inclusive too and I respected that being the only solo person on the tour. I arrived with a mouthful of Orajel, ready to duck down a sidewalk if it got too bad. The next thing I knew I was apparently transported to the front of the Capitol Rotunda, listening and laughing as she put the finishing touches on a medium paced whirlwind. The engagement made me forget about any pain I had, orthodontically speaking. I am so glad I didn’t go back to the hotel to lick my wounds that night. It was magical! -Robert
