We thoroughly enjoyed the ride along the banks of the river to the estuary. The scenery was stunning. Our guide spoke English to us when we struggled to understand the French descriptions. Tasty snacks on the way back. But we were given the wrong meeting point it was just lucky we saw a group gathered outside the cycle shop on the other side of the river.

Always wanted to explore the east bank of the Rance between Dinan port and Chatelier without getting lost on the many side paths. This was my opportunity with an experienced guide and a local couple. Great fun walking through the woods and back by electric boat that picked us up off a “smugglers’” beach. Bottles of cider etc on offer but glasses had been forgotten, so crepes and biscuits!
