Overview

Snorkeling sunset catamaran sailing cruise along the Pacific Coast watching for humpback whales, orcas, dolphins, turtles and flying fish. Snorkel in secluded bay with included snorkeling equipment. Open bar is included for the duration of tour, and the crew will prepare a light meal and delicious snacks. Pull anchor, raise the sails and watch the spectacular pacific sunset sky explode into a multitude of colors. The tour ends as the sun sinks below the horizon.

Pick up is on the beach. Check in with the boat rep prior to 1:15PM. Representative will have a Marlin del Rey shirt for identification. Meeting point Coco Beach : On the beach in front of Bar El Ancla in Playa de Coco. Meeting point Tamarindo: On the beach in front of restaurant El Chiringuito.

Itinerary

Once you have checked in with the Catamaran representative upon arrival to the beach you will board small dinghy that will take to you the larger catamaran vessel.  Set sail on and glide along the pacific coast watching for whales, dolphins, turtles, leaping rays and flying fish. Stop at a secluded bay and begin your snorkel adventure as the crew prepares a light meal and delicious snacks. (Please note - Actual wildlife sightings vary from day to day) Later, the crew will pull anchor and raise the sails so you can motor slowly across the bay. The crew will anchor once again, so you can watch the spectacular pacific sunset as the sky explodes into a multitude of colors. Tour ends as the sun sinks below the horizon. Beautiful Sunset

I appreciated being picked up at our hotel for this excursion, however, people from the other hotel that we were picking up from weren't ready on time so we spent quite a bit of time waiting on them. We were dropped off right at the Coco Beach location that we were to take the dingy boat to the catamaran. Food was amazing on board and the snorkeling was okay (just not much to see). The boat crew was very friendly and it was a gorgeous sunset! Super fun experience for my family!

The entire excursion was a blast. The ride to the cove where we swam was relaxing and the views were amazing. Once we got to the cove I snorkeled, saw lots of beautiful fish, my wife and daughter swam and we all jumped off the side of the boat. We met some great people from our home state which was nice and drank margaritas, piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris. The food was good and the crew was awesome. I’d definitely book this tour again.

Fun in the sun

Great excursion & the catamaran is quite nice. Dillon was awesome & serviced us with drinks around the clock with a smile on his face. I do feel the music could have been better. Only Latin music was played on the first stretch…I feel they could mix it more with R&B, easy listening & pop music. Also the food was quite tasty. Overall a good excursion. Didn’t snorkel so no review on that part, we just chilled on the catamaran.

Fun way to experience the wildlife

This was a great way to end our trip to Costa Rica. The crew was fun, the drinks were good on the open bar, and we saw a lot of wildlife.
