Beautiful Haleakalā sunrise

This was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend to do this tour at least once. Our guide, Marlon, picked us up on time at 3:05 AM and drove us to the lookout point of Haleakalā to wait for the sunrise. It was VERY COLD and windy at the top. A wind-break blanket is highly recommended, along with gloves and a winter jacket. Marlon told us historical stories on the way up and down from the volcano and stopped along the way to show us rare plants and birds. After the sunrise we stopped at the Maui Plantation for breakfast (breakfast was mediocre but the scenery was wonderful). Marlon was an experienced and knowledgeable guide, he was friendly and answered all questions.

This tour was amazing. We only brought a sweatshirt to Maui so the tour provided jackets were a life saver. Our tour guide Trevor was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable and engaging. The tour ended with a large and delicious breakfast. I would absolutely book this tour again.

We had an amazing time and our tour driver Trevor was A+++++! He was incredibly knowledgeable and a fabulous communicator - we provided updates in terms of the schedule for each portion of the tour and we arrived at Haleakala at the perfect time to secure the best viewing spots! Highly recommend the tour, the breakfast was very good, and Trevor was outstanding!
