My wife and I took the Hell's Kitchen Food and Central Park Stroll with David Turk. The food selected for the tour was outrageously delicious. In five or six stops we experienced a broad range of delights from this gastronomically rich part of Manhattan. The Cheese Boat from the country of Georgia, the fourth stop on the tour, sounds like a joke, but we've never tasted anything more scrumptious. Think pizza to the power of 10.
The stroll through Central Park after the food part of the tour was all that saved us from having to hibernate for the winter after all that food. Dave's love for that oasis in the heart of the city was evident. Even though we'd visited the park many times, we learned new and interesting facts.
The skill Manhattan Walking Tour demonstrated selecting Dave for the tour was even more impressive. Dave took the trouble when we met to learn about us. Then he generously shared his extensive knowledge of the area with us, tailoring it to our particular interests in culture, history, architecture and, even geology. No Schist! Before writing this I noodled around the Internet and discovered a bit about Dave's background as an entrepreneur, caterer, teacher and coach. He clearly learned his craft and faithfully applies the skills he teaches others to these tours.
