Get picked up from your hotel in Ponta Delgada, where you can buckle into the seat of an off-road vehicle perfectly suited to tackle the area's rural roads and country lanes. As you ride, learn about Sete Cidades' geologic profile. In the center of a volcanic crater that stretches for over 3 miles (5 km), the village's lake-scattered valleys are filled with forests that emerged after an eruption in 500 AD

An amazing half day

This was an amazing experience, one not to be missed. Margaride was our guide and she went out of her way to make the half day one not to forget she is so dynamic and knowledgeable and made our experience out of this world.The views were incredible and my photos do not do justice to this amazing island. Do not hesitate in taking this amazing experience.

Stunning views and friendly guide

Highly recommend this! The hiking path shares the road with the off-roading vehicles so you would avoid hiking up. Also, there is not a single path of shade. The road is not meant for regular vehicles. The guide was on time, professional, and friendly.

We had an amazing experience on our trip to Sete Cidades. Gonsalvo ( hope I am spelling his name correctly) was on time, very friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Sete Cidades is a beautiful area and Gonsalvo is a fantastic driver in the off road sections especially. Thank you for the wonderful experience !
