Itinerary

The activity begins with a briefing at the office. Afterwards, embark on a 2 to 3 hour tour to see whales and dolphins. Using the technique of lookouts placed strategically on the South coast of the island, critically calculate where the best observation points are. Board a boat that departs to meet these unique animals. Begin a trip that's a blend of fun, adventure, discovery and scientific knowledge. Water proof jackets and life jackets are provided.

A great experience with Picos seeing dolphins and sperms whales.

We specifically booked with these guys after all the positive reviews. We also decided to go on the rib for the adrenaline fun of it. The two girls who were skipper and biologist were really good and we got to see dolphins and sperm whales (a first for me). Highly recommended but if you get sea sick, maybe go on the larger boat they have.

Professional Team and Equipment. All well organized. We could spot sperm whale including a Baby whale very courious about our boat so came very close. Also several groups of common dolphins we could see close to the boat

I went out on Oct 12th afternoon for a 3H dolphin and whales watching tour. The animal sighting was successful, as we encountered 2 sperm whales and countless dolphins. * Professionalism - They really try hard to encounter the animals. After meeting a large group of dolphins relatively close to Ponta Delgada, we still went out for 1h at full speed to look for whales. * Amazing Team - The boat driver (Natalia) was riding the waves at full speed. Despite big waves, we got home almost dry thanks to masterclass driving skills. The other crew member (Alexandre) was sharing details on the marine life in Portuguese and English for the full tour. They don’t just deliver an experience, but help building memories. * True nature lovers - The team is super respectful of the animals and the marine environment. They avoid interfering too much with the animals to not disturb. We collected plastic trash as we were encountering it floating on the sea. Definitely recommended. Thanks so much!! Thanks again for

The tour war great. We went in the afternoon on the speed boat. We ended up seeing two sperm whales and a big pod of dolphins, probably close to 40! The calves were very playful jumping out of the water and swimming very close to our boat. It was an amazing experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and you could tell she loved her job.
