An excellent half-day in Johannesburg & Soweto
Published on Dec, 2024
Having a part-time role in the travel industry, I have worked with many guides in different parts of the world, and would say with confidence that 'Lucky', properly known as Nhlanhla, is an excellent guide/driver. Our half-day tour was expertly lead, and allowed us to introduce our teenage boys to the key parts of the apartheid narrative in an informative and succinct way.
Nhlanhla is charming, polite, offers great communication and nothing felt too much trouble with him. When we return to Joburg, I would most certainly wish to see more things through his eyes and benefit from his hospitality and expertise.
Highlights of Joburg

Has been a great half day tour in Joburg. Lucky showed us the highlights and briefly explained the rather complex history of South Africa. Lucky is friendly, flexible and a very knowledgeable and pleasant guide.

A Great Way to Experience Joburg!

Our tour guide, Lucky, was very knowledgeable and told us all the history of Johannesburg as he drove us all around the city. Very nice man with a sense of humor. We learned so much as we enjoyed all of the city, stopping at a few of the key areas. So much to take in but he made it so easy. Lucky even tried to teach us some of the native languages (he knows 8!) We felt completely safe at all times and even got to enjoy a traditional African buffet lunch place. Well done!
Excellent tour and guide
