Afternoon wine tour with a lunch stop. A great option for people who desire the expert knowledge and connections that a winemaker tour guide can offer. A compact tour with time for lunch at a winery (at own cost). On our half day tour you get up close and personal with the Marlborough wine region. You visit 3-4 wineries which can include a visit to Makana Chocolate Shop. Lunch at a vineyard restaurant is always a highlight for our half-day customers. The half day small group winery tour has an itinerary but the tour guide will invite participants to make winery requests and vineyard suggestions. If you have a favorite wine that you would like to taste and visit then we will do our best to take you there on this Half day Winery tour. This tour does not include a visit to Cloudy Bay, Fromm and Hans Herzog. We had a thoroughly great afternoon on our tour of vineyards, hosted by Cam. It was a very relaxed tour, with 3 other couples in the group and plenty of time to enjoy tasting a wide selection of wines, get to know each other and absorb the detail given by the various vineyard hosts and Cam. All in all the tour was well organised and Cam was a great host and tour guide. Thank you.

What a perfect day! We thoroughly enjoyed the half day tour with Hop n Grape and our tour guide Cam. We went to 4 great wineries whose wines and local information were enhanced by Cam's extensive knowledge. We loved the lunch at St. Clair Winery. Such a grand experience that exceeded our exceptions. We highly recommend this tour for a personal tour of Marlborough's wineries.

Brilliant fun

The half day tour was excellent . collected from our hotel, even allowed us to be later due to the ferry timing. Excellent lunch, 3 fantastic wineries and also stop at the chocolate factory. The individual wine guides were fab but the tour guide Doug was amazing. It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with him leading the group. He even provided some tips for the next part of our road trip.

A superb afternoon with Darlene. She collected us just before 12 and finished a d half four! Four boneyards. Amazing lunch. Truer approx 20 wines in total, including four glasses of “champagne method” bubbles. Each vineyard welcomed us and it was apparent Darlene had a great relationship with them, and a lot of respect from each. I wouldn’t hesitate to propose using them for a half or full day wine tour. Loads of fun, lots of knowledge without being talked at. Great day, will do again hopefully.
