My two sisters and I enjoyed this excursion. When I booked it, I really didn’t know that a nice lady would be with us the whole time—helping us with reservation details, showing us how to put on and use the equipment, showing us where to easily catch the tram, and actually snorkeling with us in the water. She helped us feel safe and guided us around to see the beautiful fish. Plus, she also took pictures and helped us download them on our phones after snorkeling. One sister and myself opted to rent wetsuits. We went at low tide, and a few times the water was so shallow that I actually scraped the rocks with my knee. I’m 78, and I liked having a knowledgeable person to snorkel with us in unfamiliar waters. We saw lots of beautiful fish, and some of them were quite large. I felt like I was swimming in an aquarium! I feel this is a good excursion for people who might be a bit apprehensive about snorkeling at Hanama Bay.

If I could have I would have given this TEN stars! If you have little to no snorkeling experience you must book this guided tour. I am not a strong swimmer and a bit terrified of water but really wanted to give snorkeling a try. I was very scared getting started and Fumio, the guide helped ease me into it. She lead with such confidence and expertise I ended up being comfortable enough to go to the deep part and saw a turtle. My husband was able to do his own thing following her and we were both able to enjoy this. If not for Fumio, I would have ended up not snorkeling. We can’t thank her enough for the experience. Plus, she gives you her go pro images for no extra charge. It was my favorite thing we did in Hawaii thanks to Fumio. She is very knowledgeable and knows the water very well!

Everything is perfect. Fumio took care of me as I'm the first time snorkeling. Also the group is small, like about less than 5, so Fumio could pay close attention to all members. Really recommend this to anyone who want to snorkeling at Hanauma Bay!

We had a great time at Hanauma Bay and saw so many types of fish and two green turtles. Fumio was a great snorkeling guide and took us to all the best spots to look for fish. She provided everything for us (snorkel gear, snacks, water). We also got wetsuits for $10 each as my family members tend to get cold in the winter waters. If you’re considering Hanauma Bay this is the best way to experience it. No need to scramble to reserve a limited time slot, don’t need to find parking, and don’t even have to wait in line to enter the park as Fumio takes care of all the details and takes us to the front of the line. As an added bonus, she has a go pro to take pictures and videos of us and the fish and then she shares them with us at the end of our trip for no extra charge. We definitely think it was worth paying for this experience and being able to enjoy the bay without worrying about anything.

Picked us up, took care of all details, snorkeled the whole reef, took videos and pictures of us, fish, and the turtle! Had water, snacks, mats, etc! Easiest, most incredible thing experience! Don’t hesitate to book this!
