Wonderful tour and guide-worth every penny

Our tour guide, Dan went above and beyond our expectations with his knowledge of the island history and of volcanoes in general-we highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to get Dan as a guide, you’ve hit the jackpot!

Great but Viator needs to fix the overview as locations are inaccurate.

Honestly I really enjoyed the tour. The lava tube was obviously amazing. The guide Dan was very kind and informative. Above and beyond in my opinion. The van was a Mercedes and was comfortable. I'll be back on a month. Might just do it again. I do have one gripe with Viator however. The overview says the tour includes Orchid Gardens, a coffee mill and a macadamia farm but the tour doesn't go to this locations and hasn't. Dan did explain they have contacted viator previously to have them have it removed but viator hasn't removed it. My friend was really looking forward to the coffee mill lol. Anyways. I enjoyed it still and wouldn't have traded Dan for anyone else. I also want to say I appreciate them waiting on the cruise ship as it was about 15 minutes late. Thank you for a wonderful memory!

Dan was AMAZING. 100% our favorite tour guide to date. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and really took care of us. He was full of fun facts and knew all the best spots. We would love to tour with Dan again, he’s the best on the Big Island.
