Itinerary

Day 1: Trekking Rinjani start from the Rinjani Trek Center Senaru around 08:00, start to walk through dense tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. Stop a break we’ll take at Post 2 Montong SATAS shelter (1,500 m) for a cup of tea with some biscuits. After the break continue to trek up for 2 hours to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000 m) for a break and lunch. We will immediately leave Pos 3 after lunch and up to Senaru crater rim (2641m) for 2 hours. Senaru crater has the most spectacular view after the peak. We will enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the new volcano on the edge of the lake and camp here for the night. Day 2: After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, we will leave Mount Rinjani descend to Senaru village through the rainforest. It takes 5 hours and we will take lunch along the way. Arrive at Senaru village. End of service.

Syam Trekker's service way surpass our expectations! Our guide Amin was funny and very kind, gave me a helping hand all the way to the summit. Food was also extremely tasty and nutritious. Tent was and sleeping bag was also of good quality. Very pleased, highly recommended!!

I was recommended Syam Trekker by a friend of mine because she was so happy with the organisation. I can only agree with her, we did the 2D1N trek and it was such a nice experience. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Syam and his family, they were so friendly to us. We had the best stay and food there! The day after we started the trek, our guide Awal took care of us. He pulled us through the hike and was super friendly and helpful! We shared a lot of stories during the hike. The porters made the best food and made sure we had a good sleep in the tents. We really had the best time, thank you so much Awal, porters, Syam and family for everything! I can only recommend you! :-)

A wonderful experience with Syam Trekker! Intense 3-day-2-night tour with beautiful views while hiking, really worth it. Amazing crew/team that gives a lot of information, answers all your questions, very friendly, always laughing, … they were super good prepared (concerning food, drinks, snacks, camping gear, …). Hiking Mount Rinjani with Syam Trekker was a fantastic and once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our guide, Ari and porters were really professional, helpful and encouraged us throughout the whole hike. Food was great and they also adapted to a different track we decided to do. I definitely recommend this agency from which I already had heard great reviews.
