Boring, but necessary, tour of Philadelphia

Published on Dec, 2024

History is not my cup of tea, but this tour helped me to cover some of the most important landmarks in Philadelphia. Honestly, the history behind the tour was very boring, but it was much needed as a first-time visitor. I wish they would create a "must-see" walking tour of Philadelphia and not just the colonial era. For example, Chinatown, Reading Terminal Market, Museum of Art, etc... I had a blast exploring Chinatown but it was never mentioned in the walking tour.

Enhance your tour at your own pace.

The audio tour really enhanced our walk around the historic sites. Great way to get some color commentary as you move along.

Superb, informative, flexible - fabulous!

Published on Sep, 2024

We loved this well-researched and detailed commentary that hit the highlights AND tackled the many conflicts and contradictions of our history. The GPS-based approach worked great and it gave us the flexibility we needed to do this at our own pace (over 2 days) and go into some of these amazing places for that more in-depth experience. Highly recommend this tour!

Great way to explore the city on your own timeframe.

Published on Apr, 2024

We loved the fact we could stop and start our tour when we pleased. We did a couple extras along the way and my phone died so we didn’t finish the tour. It was a great way to see the city.

Really well planned route and perfect length of audio clips.

Published on Nov, 2023

The guide was really good. Just the right amount of info evenly spaced out. I also visited the Revolutionary War museum which offered an audio tour but found it to be overly wordy which distracted from the exhibits. The Action tours was just the right amount.
