Overview

Kayaking after dark is a rare opportunity to do something different & exciting. Our Illuminated LED kayak location is uniquely situated in a usually calm bay, Pacquereau Bay. Kayakers report seeing multiple turtles, southern stingrays, tarpon and lots of tropical fish. Kayak guides take you on a magical narrated adventure. The lights of the Cove, the city lights of historical Charlotte Amalie harbor and the LED Lighted Kayaks make for an unforgettable night. Illuminated your night with LED Kayaks After Dark. Itinerary

NOW 4 TOURS A NIGHT!! 7PM, 7:30PM, 8:30PM & 9PM!!! At our Kayak After Dark location, the Marriott's Frenchman's Cove beach by the dock, your St. Thomas Water Sports (STWS) guides will give a safety briefing, an introduction to your equipment and kayaking instruction. STWS’ kayaks are retrofitted with powerful LED lights, allowing you view the underwater world, which includes the nocturnal residents in their natural habitat. Keep your eyes open for a possible sea turtle, tarpon or stingray sighting! Enjoy a relaxing twilight paddle to see if the pirate ship is there. Not only will you kayak under the twinkling stars, glow of the moon, but you’ll also experience the sparkling lights of historical Charlotte Amalie Harbour as a backdrop too! It's an adventure you sure want to participate in!

This is worth doing!! The kayak has a clear bottom so you can see the wildlife in the ocean under you. Saw sting rays, fish, and turtles. Guide was great and trip even came with some stand up comedy. Can do a solo or double kayak.

This was such a cool experience! I saw stingray and fish and sea turtles. But I enjoyed kayaking in the open water the most. It was a beautiful adventure. Peaceful and cool to see at night. (I didn’t take my camera because I was afraid it would get wet but I definitely could have. Just a flew splash drops here and there. You don’t get wet. )

We had such a fun time on this outing! Paul, our guide was so considerate and so knowledgeable of the fish that we were seeing. We saw fish, stingrays, and turtles. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was the highlight of my vacation. I wish it had lasted more than 90 minutes. As a beginner at kayaking I was a bit apprehensive. Paul immediately put me at ease and provided guidance the entire trip. He is SO knowledgeable about the sealife you will encounter.

This was a trip I will always treasure! Our guide, Paul, was SO knowledgeable,patient and fun and it seemed the night fish knew his voice and responded to him over and over again! It was so much more than I ever expected! We loved meeting Pickles, Louis Junior a d so many other of his Sea turtle and Stingray friends, as well as countless other sea animals. My sister and I were both beginners and he had us feeling like comfortable kayakers in no time. Don't miss this amazing opportunity and I'd recommend not going with the other LARGE groups out there. Paul is the best!!
