Overview

Visiting and working in a professional ceramics studio is a unique experience. Our artisan ceramics workshop is accredited by the Generalitat de Catalunya. The opportunity to try your hand at this craft tradition will create a unique and memorable experience. The workshop includes learning ceramic hand building, decoration techniques and fun. Come on your own or with a friend - this is an open, friendly environment. This is an excellent place to start to learn the basics about the ceramics process and test out basic techniques. What's unique about our workshop: - A licensed fine arts academy by the city of Barcelona - An accredited artisan ceramics workshop by the Generalitat of Catalonia - Classes taught by accredited ceramic artisan with Artisan Card number 15,932.

Itinerary

Come and have fun. No skills required, a class to try ceramics. You'll learn key ceramic skills a foundation to explore the field of ceramics. An excellent place to learn ceramic skills and test out basic techniques. Visit our workshop. Come on your own or with a friend - this is an open, friendly environment. What you’ll learn and what we’ll do. You’ll learn about the ceramics process, clays and decoration techniques. Out come the aprons, clay and tools. Get your hands dirty. Hands on choose to make your own cup, bowl or plate. You’ll learn skills ceramists use sculpting by hand. After your form is complete you learn to texture and add decorations. No need to bring anything special, we’ll have an apron ready for you. Let the fun begin. Your Finished Ceramics Ceramics take a bit of time to dry. We offer two options if you are just visiting Barcelona: Option 1: About 1 to 2 weeks later your ceramic piece is ready to pick up or mail. Shipping is not included in the workshop price. We ship worldwide via DHL. Option 2: Just visiting Barcelona, can’t wait a few days? You can leave your creation and select one from our finished handmade (€25 value) item.

I had a wonderful time! Wendy is a fun instructor and Eric kept a very detailed record of our activities. I highly recommend this one of a kind learning experience. In a few weeks I'll receive a personal, hand made souvenir of my trip

Eric and Wendy were fantastic, we arrived late due to our lack of skills using Google maps (ha!) but we were quickly settled in and caught back up to speed. Plenty of new skills learnt on the basics of clay ceramics and then we were given the choice of what to make ourselves which was very exciting. Workshop was lovely and inviting, lots of fun!

We had the pleasure to had a Ceramic Exprience with Wendy and Eric, it was very funny. Very reccomended!
