Overview

This tour takes you to the stunning Troodos Mountains, which is the highest mountain range in Cyprus. You'll get to enjoy the fresh mountain air and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. There are several picturesque villages in the area where you can stop for a coffee or a bite to eat. The Venetian Bridge is an ancient stone bridge located near the village of Tzelefos. The bridge was built in the 16th century during the Venetian period and is a testament to the island's rich history. It is a popular spot for taking photos and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the river flowing beneath it. The tour also takes you to the Milomeris Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Cyprus.   • Tzelefos Bridge

    Inspection of the 15th-century Venetian bridge "Kelefos", one of the few remaining bridges that made up the road for camels loaded with copper.

  • Lambouri Winery

    Lambouri wines are made from local grape varieties grown in the best grape region of the island, zone A, on the southern slopes of the Troodos mountains. Here, the combination of rich limestone soil, spring rains and hot, sunny Mediterranean summers allows the fruit to ripen and give it its full flavor. Winters are mild and the light Cypriot breeze keeps the frosts in check and dispels the fogs. This is the ideal environment for creating fine wines. Here you will be offered to taste famous Zivania, Cammanderia and other local wines.

    This spot allows visitors to enjoy the majestic views of the Troodos slopes, all the way to the bay of Morphou.

    The waterfall is hidden inside the mountain and the whole area around it is wet, the water of the waterfall is a “cold” river, which is the highest waterfall in Cyprus, its water falls from a height of 15 meters. Millomeris was not so famous in the past due to the inaccessibility of its location.

    The village of Omodos is located at an altitude of 810 meters above sea level, so even at the height of summer it is cool here. The pride and adornment of Omodos is the monastery of the Holy Life-Giving Cross. This is one of the oldest villages in Cyprus, of great cultural and historical significance. Another feature of the village is that it is located in the center of the wine-producing region and is famous for its incomparable wines. Wine here can be tasted and bought in almost every home. And in the village, there are several small museums: a museum dedicated to the struggle for the liberation of Cyprus in 1955-1959, a wine museum, and a lace museum. In the glassblower workshop, you can buy beautiful handmade souvenirs.

Amazing tour!

Vlad is a very good guide, he told us a lot about Cyprus and its story/ economy / and so on ! The tour was fantastic! Totally recommend this tour! I took a very nice walk in the forest and enjoy the silence.

INTERESTING TRIP WITH BEAUTIFUL SCENERY

The trip was really enjoyable we had plenty of time to see everything of interest and Galina, our guide, was so knowledgeable she gave us the history of everything we saw. We travelled in comfort in a small SUV and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. We would certainly recommend the Venetian Bridge, Mountains and waterfall trip.

Tour Guide was very knowledgable and available at all times. The scenery in the mountains is beautiful but make sure have a coat at this time of year. The one downside was that my ticket clearly stated that pick-up time was 8am when no one had arrived by 8-15am I telephoned the Company only to be told that pick-up time was 8–55am which meant we had sat about for over one hour. I wonder what would have happened if it had been the other way around. Would we have been treated as a ‘no show’ and refused our money back.
