Come join us for an adventure where you are personally guided around the highlands by fun, friendly experienced highland lassie's. (Avril or Lorraine) This is a PRIVATE CRUISE SHIP TOUR for 16 passengers Maximum. We are UNABLE to take wheelchairs due to space unless contacted first. Join me to either venture... NORTH which covers Dunrobin Castle & Dornoch and Distillery. Locations Listed 1-5 SOUTH and Cawdor Castle, Culloden Battlefield and Loch Ness. Locations Listed 6-11 Avoid the hustle and bustle of a larger coach group and tour round the highlands in your own 16 seat minibus. This tour can be customized to your requirements. We try to get the most out of your day out so departure times will vary depending on your requirements. We will email you to confirm this.

    Let us take you to the famous Millionaires Viewpoint on Struie Hill, here you will have plenty of time to take breathtaking photo's.

  • Dunrobin Castle and Gardens

    From Millionaires Viewpoint we head over to the stunning Dunrobin Castle, gardens and falconry display.

    1 hour 30 minutes

  • Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve

    A spot of seal watching is next on the list, we will look for grey and common seals at this stunning spot.

    10 minutes

  • Dornoch

    A stop in this lovely village is next on our list. Here you can visit the Dornoch Cathedral where Madonna had Rocco christened, Carnegie Courthouse or even the Jail.... be aware pennies are required with all of the lovely items they have for sale.

  • Cawdor Castle

    Our first stop is Cawdor Castle and its a-maze-ing gardens. Don't get lost now we need you back on board for the rest of the tour.

    Dare you touch the stones? We are not covered by insurance if you head back in time to 1746.

  • Culloden Battlefield

    Oh Jamie, oh Jamie our scottish bonnie laddie. See were the Jacobites lost the battle in April 1746

    We pass through Inverness to Loch Ness for a bit of Nessie Spotting

  • Beauly

    From Loch Ness we head over to the 'beautiful place' of Beauly. Visit Campbell's of Beauly or the Priory or a visit to The Old School House where those famous Outlander books get signed.

  • Robertson's Farm Shop Beauly

    How about a visit to the Hielan Coo's. Here we visit Heather, Katie-Morag and Jamie. A visit to the farm shop for all things Coo related is a must.

We came to Invergordon on a cruise ship and did the south tour with Avril’s Travels. Lorraine was our guide and she was a lot of fun and very funny. She was a great guide and we enjoyed our tour very much. Highly recommend.

Everyone wants their time to be spent in the nicest way possible. To see, to experience and to learn all the magic that Scotland holds. Avril will be that person you remember, she’ll be what promotes a smile and a warm feeling of appreciation.. And you’ll laugh. Smart, informative, caring. It’s was Father’s Day weekend and she gave her time in presenting my husband with a basket of goodies she personally selected for our daughter in the states. Her price was incredibly reasonable and every review will state the same. Enjoy your time, God bless, you are in for a treat!
