We had this booked for the middle of our week in Barbados and it proved a great way to break up our time in the resort and see more of the island. There were two of us with our preschool child and we loved it: Harrisons Cave was an amazing experience, pictures don’t really do it justice, some of the caverns are massive, also very educational. This was followed by Bathsheba Beach (often pictured in guidebooks/posters about Barbados) where we had a nice lunch and finally to the Wildlife Reserve, where the animal feeding is an absolute delight, especially for children. There was also a brief stop at Cherry Tree Hill which offers a good photo op.
Back at the hotel by around 4pm for some rest before dinner, ideal for young families.
