Overview

Rural Cyprus is at your fingertips on this whistle stop tour. The morning kicks off with first stop at Petra tou Romiou for photographs (available only for guests from Pissouri Hotels). Aphrodite’s mythical birthplace ‘Petra tou Romiou’ is an interesting geological formation of huge rocks along one of the most beautiful coastlines on the island. Then you will continue with a visit of Kourion–one of the most impressive archaeological sites on the island. It’s classic Greco-Roman, with a half-moon of seats facing out to sea. Kolossi Castle is the next stop. This Crusader-era castle is surrounded by flowering plants and a pretty courtyard. Hop back on the airconditioned bus and head to Fini village where lunch will be served at a local tavern. Next stop, the mountain-ringed village of Omodos where you will have a guided walk through the village. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to taste traditional Cyprus wine in a local winery before heading back to the resorts.

Aphrodite’s mythical birthplace ‘Petra tou Romiou’ is an interesting geological formation of huge rocks along one of the most beautiful coastlines on the island.

Kourion is one of the most impressive archaeological sites on the island. Visit it’s classic Greco-Roman theatre, with a half-moon of seats, is facing out to sea. You will also visit the ‘House of Eustolios’, which was originally a private villa that was turned into a public recreation centre during the Early Christian period.

If you are looking for a truly fantastic venue for your golf society or just a few friends Aphrodite Hills golf resort should tick all your boxes. 1: Stunning DP World Tour Venue 2: Really helpful staff all the way from Andrew - Director of golf to all the guys & girls who help the place run so smoothly. 3: I've stayed in the hotel and a few of the Villas dotted around the course so whatever suits you there's plenty of choice. 4: stunning scenery everywhere with some truly memorable shots over some very large canyons the Par 3 7th hole you won't forget in a hurry. 5: if you love 2 rounds a day Book for July & Aug 2023 Unlimited golf includes buggies book with Golf breaks or YGT.
