What to Wear - Summer Months (September to April)
Cool functional attire preferably in dull darker shades to create uniformity with vehicle and not stand out visually to game species. Always remember a good hat as well as sunscreen. Midday temperatures can reach upward of 40 degrees and afternoons can experience thunder showers. All vehicles are equipped with blankets and waterproof ponchos for our guests.
What to Wear - Winter Months (May to August)
During the winter months we typically experience blue skies with a daily average temperature of 20 - 25 degrees celcius. Early morning and late afternoons are cooler and we recommend warmer attire as this is amplified when travelling on an open safari vehicle. We do provide blankets but long pants, jacket and beanie are recommended.

I’m an avid traveler but have never done a review but I owe it to Andrew and to my fellow travelers to write the following. Andrew’s instincts, experience and knowledge are impressive. He was highly recommended by very experienced birding friends of my wife. Our entire family joined him on a day trip from Malelane Gate after hearing how well the birding went. He’s the guy to trust. He knows every nook and cranny of the park and he knew where to find the wildlife. His stories and instruction kept our teens and preteens’ attention as we waited for the wild dogs to appear (as he felt they would) and as we sat and listened to the grunts of the anxious hyenas who had treed a leopard with a fresh kill. What a day.

We had three days private Safari with Andrew and one of his colleagues. I cannot recommend him highly enough, his knowledge is second to none, his attention to detail and ensuring we saw everything we wanted to see was amazing. His passion for Kruger shines through, he really is an extraordinary guide and a totally charming person to spend the day with. I guarantee you will not find a better Kruger guide.

Amazing birds with an amazing guide!

My husband and I spend an amazing day with Andrew birding Kruger National Park. It was our first trip to South Africa, so there were a lot of new things to see. We ended up with more than 100 bird species, with bonus experiences with other mammals and wildlife. One non-bird highlight was seeing a group of 11 Rhino!! Andrew's knowledge of birds and all things Kruger National Park made our experience amazing and we can't wait to get back and go bird with him again!

We had a beautiful, relaxing, and exciting day on our private guided full day trip with Andrew as our guide. He was so knowledgeable about the history, the land, the animals, and even the plants. He could explain every question my husband had about everything. He made the trip most enjoyable. We came upon many animals near the road. The elephants got very close. They were majestic. As a guide, Andrew was getting updates as to where animals had been spotted. He always paid attention to our safety and the animals comfort as he positioned our jeep in the right place to see the animals and get great pictures. We took this tour from Malelane Gate. We plan to return with Andrew as our guide at other gate locations so to see all of this amazing park. Thank you so much Andrew!!!
