Overview

In the heart of the Bernese Oberland, tour the most spectacular lake in Switzerland by boat and discover the breath-taking scenery of imposing mountain slopes reaching into the turquoise water. Approach the famous Giessbachfälle waterfall to within 10 feet, then alight and cross the bridge that spans the waterfall. Go ashore and explore the village of Iseltwald (voted one of the top 12 prettiest Swiss villages) on foot, treat yourself to local food, enjoy the vibe. Back on-board stop and anchor anywhere you like so you can jump off the boat to swim or tan or just relax. If you are interested, you can experiment steering the boat, both at low and high speeds and learn about boatmanship. Feeling sporty? Then you can add the full-day water sports package (wakeboarding, tow-surfing, kneeboarding, tubing). Call us after the booking!

Lake Brienz

Total net time on the lake is about 4 hours and can be adjusted up or down depending on other stops & activities. Lake Brienz, up to 260 meters deep, 14 km long and 3 km wide is famous for its limestone lake floor allowing for unique light reflection resulting in a spectrum of jaw-dropping colors of its water as well as for extraordinary views, both from the water and the shore.

Giessbach Falls

11.30 am Stop at Gießbachfälle (waterfall). Possible to go ashore and walk over the bridge that crosses the falls. The Giessbach falls. The roaring waterfall is carrying water down 500 m to the lake in several cascades. We will approach it as much as we can without getting too wet. Then we will stop and you can take a walk across the bridge right in front of the waterfall.

12.30 pm to 2 pm : Lunch stop and Visit of Iseltwald Iseltwald. A very picturesque and very small village. A few different places to have lunch, a small grocery store. Sometimes local Folklore events take place. Great photo opportunities

Amazing experience - will return!

What a beautiful day spent on lake zurich! Everything went so smooth - from pre trip to the trip itself and everything around. We were picked by Erik at home and were driven to the docking station - everything was on time and ready for a fantastic day. The boat is really well equipped, clean and beautiful on top of it. We wanted to have a quick bite for lunch so Erik parked the boat at the shore so we could eat on land. What a wonderful experience to arrive by boat at the restaurant. Some of us managed to go water skiing, Erik told us all about his tipps and tricks - it was amazing! This was definitely not the last time we used “My swiss lake tour”! Can only highly recommend it!

We chose the boat tour on Lake Brienz with pick-up in Zurich where we live. The driver (and later skipper! ) was on-time and soon after our family of 4 (2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 child) set out South! The day on the lake was magnificent. We spent quite some time at the Giessbach waterfalls and even went ashore to walk over the bridge. We felt like we were alone in the world in the middle of this wonderful lake. The skipper helped my husband and I try wakeboarding while my children had fun on the tube. It was so much fun! We had lunch (not included) in a nice and not so expensive small restaurant right on the lake in the village of Iseltwald which is known as one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland. The afternoon was punctuated by relaxing on the boat and swimming. I really recommend this activity if you like being on the water and want to do something very exclusive.
