  • Alfama

    The Alfama neighborhood is the oldest and most traditional in Lisbon. Starting the tour in this typical area of Lisbon, very different from all the others, will allow you to get to know this neighborhood and better understand the city's history and the way it grew.

  • Campo das Cebolas

    At the end of the Alfama neighborhood, there is an area (Campo das Cebolas) of high historical value, the ruins of the ancient Roman port. Here you will see part of the ruins of the port and learn about the influence and importance that the Roman people had in Lisbon and Portugal several centuries ago.

  • Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco)

    This monumental and wonderful square, facing the Tagus River, which was the ancient gateway to the city of Lisbon, is currently the most important square in the city. Here we will make a stop so you can see the square, to explain why it is so important and also to explain how the devastating tsunami of 1755 happened and the social and architectural consequences.

  • Praca Dom Pedro IV

    After stopping at Comércio Sqaure, we will cycle for around 10 minutes, through the streets of downtown Lisbon, until we reach another important square in Lisbon, called Rossio. Another wonderful square in our city, where the National Theater, Lisbon's first major train station and the enigmatic São Domingos Church are located. In addition to these monuments, you can also discover some of the oldest and most legendary stores here.

  • Praca Dos Restauradores

    Another few hundred meters and we will reach Praça dos Restauradores, which has the monument in the middle to remember the restoration of Portugal's independence in 1640. Here it will be explained why Portugal lost its independence for 60 years. Flanked by old cinemas and theaters, this square marks the beginning of Avenida da Liberdade, the most important in Lisbon.

  • Elevador de Santa Justa

    The monumental Santa Justa elevator, built over 100 years ago, is one of Lisbon's best-known symbols. Here we will make a brief stop to explain the reason for its existence and the great importance it had.

  • Municipal Square

    In this small square there is a beautiful building that is currently the headquarters of the Lisbon city council, but was the work place of the last kings of Portugal. During this stop it will be explained how the monarchical regime was replaced by a republican regime in 1910.

  • Calle Rosa de Lisboa

    This famous street in the city of Lisbon, until a few years ago frequented by sailors from all over the world, has changed its frequency and consequently its atmosphere. Former cabarets gave way to very trendy bars and clubs, and today it is the most famous place for nightlife. It is true that during our tour we passed through this colorful street during the day, but it is important for many to know where it is and it is a great spot to take some photos.

  • Time Out Market Lisboa

    Time Out is another icon that you will discover during this tour. This building, where Lisbon's former food market was located for many years, underwent major renovations and currently houses several dozen restaurants. With a fantastic energy, this will be one of the places where you can find the most varied Portuguese recipes. During our stop you will have the opportunity to visit the interior and taste the famous Pastel de Nata.

  • Praca Duque da Terceira

    This square located in an area called Cais do Sodré, where a train and ferry station is located, is the important connecting to several destinations. Here we will give you tips on various things you can do in Lisbon, such as crossing the river to watch the sunset and/or visiting the beaches of Estoril and Cascais.

  • Ribeira das Naus

    Now, always cycling along the river, admiring the fantastic riverfront scenery, we begin heading towards our meeting point to end our tour. During this final route you will have the opportunity to see the ruins of the port of Lisbon before the 1755 tsunami and the navy dock, with traditional boats, of Finnish origin, that have been working on the Tagus River for hundreds of years.

A great introduction to Lisbon

Amazing E-Bike Tour of Lisbon’s City Center!

Our e-bike tour of Lisbon’s city center was hands down one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we hopped on the bikes, it was clear this was going to be an incredible experience. The e-bikes made navigating Lisbon’s famously steep hills a breeze, allowing us to cover more ground and see so much of the city without breaking a sweat. Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and full of interesting stories about the history and culture of Lisbon. We stopped at all the must-see spots, including the iconic Praça do Comércio, Alfama’s charming narrow streets, and the stunning viewpoints overlooking the city. The guide made sure we had plenty of time to take photos and soak in the atmosphere. What really made the tour special was the combination of beautiful sights and the fun of riding the e-bikes. It’s such a unique way to explore the city, and it felt like an adventure the whole time. The bikes were easy to use and well-maintained, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. If you’re visiting Lisbon, I can’t recommend this e-bike tour enough. It’s a fantastic way to get a feel for the city, learn about its rich history, and have a ton of fun in the process. We finished the tour feeling energized and with a deeper appreciation for Lisbon. Don’t miss it!

We went on the city tour on our first day in Lisbon and got a really good first impression of the city! We saw lots of interesting places and enjoyed a refreshing bike ride in the summer heat. Andre was a great guide; he asked us about our expectations beforehand and adjusted the tour based on the group's preferences. He knows a lot about the history and gave us a few nice recommendations! The Lisbon city centre bike tour was fantastic especially with André as our guide. A good mix of riding and stopping for a bite and a drink/enjoying the local culture. And there was no hill climbing.
