What a fantastic tour! José was a very knowledgeable, engaging and personable tour guide. He was always interested in my questions and willing to answer them. We covered a lot of places, but at a relaxed pace even when we explored the hilly Chiado and Barrio Alto.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, showed us sights we would not have seen. He explained the sites answered questions and gave recommendations. He walked sat a pace everyone could keep up and checked to see if we were all following. Would recommend this tour if you want to understand the history of Lisbon

Amazing tour, very extensive and a lot of ground covered. Hugo was very knowledgeable about every site we visited. Lisbon / Portugal has a fascinating history, I have a much better understanding thanks to Hugo. Well with the price paid.

We went on this tour with Pedro who is truly a remarkably interesting engaging and knowledgeable guide. There was a small group that spent over three hours together listening to a complicated painful and eventually joyous history of a country that finally become autonomous and independent. Pedro was truly remarkable. Skilled capable, funny and profoundly invested in Portugal’s history and potential. Truly a joy being with him.
