Overview

We are the only local LA family-owned food tour business. We curated the original Downtown LA food tour back in 2009. A fun, passionate, and knowledgeable LA native will be your tour guide and fellow foodie friend for 3.5 hours as she/he takes you through LA's oldest public open-air market for delicious tastings at two of our favorite food stalls. Then, you will head out to historic Broadway for some incredible sightseeing of hidden landmarks such as the Bradbury Building before entering a gorgeous Italian osteria for a lovely sit-down feast of homemade pastas. Guests continue to eat their way through LA with a stop at the Last Bookstore before chowing down on some tacos and then finishing up with a decadent dessert. Guests will visit a total of 5 local eateries with tastings equivalent to a full meal, walk and sightsee around Downtown LA, receive a free tote bag for leftovers or shopping, and bond through this unique and authentic food tour experience.

Meeting points

The tour guide will check in guests at the bottom of Angel's Flight (historic orange railway) across from Grand Central Market. He/She will be carrying Six Taste tote bags.

Fantastic Food Tour!

Amazing food tour of downtown LA with Six Taste! The food was excellent and so were the sights they take you to see. The pace was not rushed and we actually got to sit down and eat at all of the food tastings. Our guide was wonderful also. Highly recommended!

Great Food on an Interesting Walk

Our family had a private food tour in Santa Monica with "Sally from the Valley". She provided us with just enough history and insight to make it entertaining. The food was delicious and included vegetarian selections for one member of our group. The portions were much larger than I expected. We definitely didn't go home hungry. Our group of 7 was comprised of ages 16 to 86 and we all enjoyed the walk, the information and especially the food!

Great Food tour in downtown LA!

Great food tour! Rachel was a very engaging, knowledgeable and organized guide that kept us entertained and educated on the goods we were eating as well as some history of the downtown area and architecture. We had South American, Thai, pasta, tacos and fancy doughnuts as well as walking through the spectacular Bradbury building and going through the funky and interesting Last Bookstore. There was even a small farmers market to walk through on our way. It was a very fun, informative and delicious food tour that I would highly recommend whether you’re from socal or out of town, like me.

Amazing tour that accommodated multigenerational guests in an engaging way and led us through Santa Monica with interesting facts all centered around great food including vegetarian options for my wife. Such a great experience with our family ranging in age from 15 to 86!!
