We had a phenomenal time on our trip to Los Arcos this week. Even though it wasn’t a “private” tour, the group was small- our family of 4 was joined by another couple who were also snorkeling and one gentleman who was diving. We appreciated the attention to detail and safety. At all times, we had two guides keeping track of all of us and making sure our group stayed together while in the water. Rodrigo was an excellent guide and helped us make the most of our experience. The water was a little bit murky and slightly choppy but we saw turtles, rays, eels, an abundance of marine life, and even got to see whales on the boat ride to and from Los Arcos!

Before we even got to snorkel, we saw some whales! Super cool. Carlos was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area. We saw blue footed boobies and lots of other birds. Saw turtles, manta rays, puffer fish, and lots of other cute fish I don’t know the names of. We felt super safe and loved the exploration. A fabulous tour and would definitely go again. It was so nice to have a small group so it was easy to stay together and learn a lot. Highly recommend!

Incredible tour take it if you can, definitely the one to pick. The meeting point it easy to get to by bus, and the boat ride is not only beautiful (we saw dolphins and whales!) but relatively short. The snorkeling was incredible we saw rays, pufferfish a friendly pilot fish and so much more! The guides are not only knowledgeable but passionate. One of the best tours we've taken, couldn't recommend it more. And the ham sandwich was far better than expected.

The past 15 years I have always done Vallarta Adventures. Over the years that company has turned their excursions into booze cruises on the boat and then rushing the excursion part. I wanted to try a new business, and we came across this place because my dad had won a tour for 2 from a benefit he was at. So, my friend and I gave this place a try and we were so happy we did! From start to finish they were safe and very educational. I really liked that the group was smaller. It is so much more fun snorkeling with a smaller group verses a group of 20+ like Vallarta Adventures. My friend that came with me was really nervous to snorkel as this was her first time. The guide made sure to check in with her often and was very helpful at easing her fears. I super loved that after snorkeling Los Arcos they gave us a choice of spots to snorkel next. We chose Coloimitos beach. It was a small, beautiful beach with a ton of different butterflies and a small waterfall. The sandwich they provided was delicous too! Eric the captain, was a great driver and nice guy. Our tour guide and photographer both had great personalities as well. They were very informative and just easy going guys that you could tell loved their jobs. When we were done with the tour, we decided to buy the pictures. I thought for sure it would be a ton of $$ just because Vallarta Adventures is insane for pic prices. However, they were only $30. I was surprised. I will say...the photographer wasn't as involved as Vallarta adventures as far as telling you to pose, etc. I had to initiate that. That would be the only thing I would say but it wasn't really a negative. Plus, the pictures were cheap. I hate to cut on Vallarta Adventures so much but that is all I have to compare too. With that...I will be using Eco Explorer in the future. We come to Vallarta 3 to 4 times a year so I will be back! Thanks guys for a great time! You all rock!

We wanted a snorkel excursion that focused on snorkeling over drinking and we found it! The boat with 12 of us (many scuba divers and instructors, our group of 2 snorkelers, and our amazing snorkeling guide, Rodrigo) departed around 9. We went to 2 sites and had Rodrigo’s full attention! We got to see beautiful fish even though the water was somewhat murky - still, such a great experience! My partner ended up sea sick and rested on a quiet beach while Rodrigo and I continued snorkeling. On our way back, there were sandwiches and we were hungry! Probably back on land around 1 PM. Such a fun day trip, highly recommend!
