Overview

Want to experience Lucerne like a local? Join us in a beautiful Walking Tour as we visit world-famous sights such as the Chapel Bridge with the Water Tower. Enjoy gorgeous views along the walk of the river and lake Lucerne. On the tour you will learn important and humorous facts about the history of Lucerne and the everyday life of its residents. You will discover hidden alleys, visit town squares and even catch a glimpse of the city's "crown, " the old city wall. A visit to the Lion monument is also included! As an optional Tour Extension you can either visit the Glacier Garden in a self guided tour or the Swiss Chocolate Adventure at the Transport Museum with an audio guide in several languages and a basic chocolate tasting. Your guide will provide all info and tickets for the tour extension. We begin with the walking tour and afterwards the tour extension chocolate or Glacier museum.

    You will learn the rich history if the Chapel Bridge and its paintings.

    Walk along the middle ages towers and admire the beauty of the surroundings.

  • Old Town Lucerne (Pass By)

    Enjoy stunning alpine views from the most beautiful vantage point around the city.

  • Lake Lucerne (Pass By)

    Walk around the lake and river to enjoy gorgeous panoramic vistas.

  • Lion Monument

    We will visit and learn about on elf the most important Swiss monument!

  • Musegg Wall (Pass By)

    Walk along the ancient wall of Lucerne city. We walk uphill to enjoy the most beautiful alpine panoramic views!

    We will learn about the Chaff bridge and enjoy its beautiful design.

  • Musegg Towers (Pass By)

    Explore the fortification area. We will walk on the wall along three towers (summer time) otherwise in winter, we walk along the wall to admire the 9 towers and the wall.

One of the Best Walking Tours I have Done!

I absolutely loved this walking tour! Ezra was personable, knowledgeable and totally committed to us enjoying the experience. He is a local guide who not only gave a great insight into the culture and history of the city but also great tips on things to do and places to eat! Loved the cheese and chocolate tasting too! Well worth it if you’re in Lucerne for a day and have a little time to capture its history. Luis our guide was fantastic and knowledgeable! He was happy to answer all types of questions and give us a good sense of Swiss culture.

We had an excellent tour of Lucerne guided by Martina. She was superb, knowledgeable and friendly. She took us around the old wall city. She provided us information on restaurants, bars and other places to visit.
