The best tour ever the architecture and the monuments tells so many stories the decor the precision of the tile, wood and metal work is just amazing but really the best of the best are the people very vibrant very nice very accommodating and always with a smile the people of Marrakech Medina are one of a kind thank you for your love and wonderful hospitality

We used a pre booked tour guide who’s name was Momo. Momo was very informative and let us dictate what we wanted to do and see. We learned so much about the history of Morocco, Marrakesh, the Medina and Souks. He explained everything in very good English. Our walking tour took us through the Medina and through the Souks and to plenty of other places we would never have seen had it not been for Momo. We stopped off in the obligatory ‘mates’ shops and stalls but we wasn’t under any obligation to buy from them. Our walking tour took us through the main square, beautiful shops, alleyways and places of interest and lasted around 3 hours which for us was plenty All in all we thoroughly enjoyed it and we think it’s a must visit experience A few bits of advice 1. Wear trainers or comfortable footwear 2. Barter where you can 3. Please note not everywhere are happy to barter

The Medina is large with lots of small, narrow off shoots. There are good bargains to be had but you have to haggle for everything. There are different areas - metal, leather, textiles etc. If you can take a long slow walk around first to get your bearings and see the different things on offer. There’s also some good architecture to be seen as it’s nearly 1000 years old and it’s got plenty of history.

This was a full day TUI tour from agadir . Our pickup was at 7.00 am but fortunately although it was a large coach our group was only 20 people. Journey was nearly 4 hours with a 15 minute stop after the 1st 90 minutes. Our guide Ahmed was brilliant all day. He was super knowledgeable and made sure that everyone got involved in the tour. Lunch and dinner were at good restaurants with the option of vegetarian meals and in my case with my allergies a different lunch and dinner menu altogether!!.Dinner was with a show of belly dancing g which was fun to see, with people taking part.We had a full day of exploring the medina which is something not to be missed, with the opportunity to shop at a local store . At one point he gave us all info allowing us to contact him via the local police in case we got lost , which was brilliant!! During on visit I suffered a diabetic issue and even th it was during Ramadan they couldn't have been more helpful rushing off to get sugar and sweet coffee.a lady also suffered from a migraine and he got a local pharmacy to open to help!! Be aware that the temperature was extreme in and around the medina, with temperatures over 38 degrees centigrade. Recommend this trip to all.

Went from Agadir to Marrakesh and did the walking tour of the old Medina. It was really good to have a tour guide as the Medina is a labyrinth in itself. Also good to get tips as to what to watch out for and what is safe. We got a very good and informative quick history lesson from our wonderful tour guide, Akram. He also guided us to a rooftop restaurant that served traditional Moroccan tagine that was really tasty. On our free time we wanted to visit the Bahia palace but it was unfortunately closed due to some filming that day. But instead had fun in the buzzing market square, bargaining, snake taming and people watching. All in all we had a very fun time and learned a lot about the Moroccan people.
