The Art of Crafting Gin: A Lesson in Professional Techniques

Not only did I have the chance to taste delicious gin, but I was also taught how to make it and even got to try making it myself. The drinks I made didn’t taste as good as those made by professionals. Even with similar ingredients, I learned through experience that the drinks crafted by professionals are more refined and require intricate techniques.

Fantastic event! Marlene was delightful as the host, and Kennan the bartender and cocktail wizard was so knowledgeable and fun. The Gin Place is a great venue and the mixology experience was top notch. Highly recommend!

It’s a vibe! I like that way to learn about gin and also get to mix your own cocktails… very warm and funny hosts that make it feel like being out with friends. Delicious drinks and typical South African snacks included … if this is South African hospitality- amazing, such a cool experience.
