The Rain Forest Night Walk provides a fantastic chance to enjoy a nocturnal tropical forest experience, the nighttime is a special time to explore the jungle. Scientists suggest that 80 percent of tropical wildlife is active at night as they take refuge in the dark to avoid potential predators. This activity is a nice opportunity to explore a natural tropical forest with an expert naturalist guide who knows local wildlife and will share natural history and scientific data about the area and this unique natural ecosystem. We provide flashlights for the two-hour Walk searching for local wildlife. Had a wonderful time Rafael was an awesome guide saw a snake sloth toucan firefly’s and lots of different birds and bugs very fun to walk through jungle at night and our guide clearly cared that the kids enjoyed the walk would not miss this tour

Cloud Forest Night Tour

Johnny arranged for transportation from our hotel to the Cloud Reserve. We met just before dark and learned some history of pur surroundings. He was extremely knowledgeable about plants and animals of the forest. We saw a green viper, many different frogs, and types of insects. We also saw a sloth and a variety of birds. Wear long pants, layers, and a jacket a hat, bug spray and flashlight.

Johnny is passionate and well educated about nature. We really enjoyed our tour and we found that not all tours are as good—even the ones our hotels usually book don’t have high ratings. Highly recommend the 5:30 tour as the sunset is gorgeous at the reserve he takes you to.

Best night hike!

Great trip! Johnny couldn’t make it but the guide we had was great! We got to see a huge family of monkeys heading home for the night, many magical birds including a large toucan sleeping. Wonderful knowledge of the forest and caring and love of the environment.

Amazing Walk in the Woods

The tour was exceptional! We learned about very interesting animals and saw them in their unique habitats. Our guide, Raul, was very passionate about his work and provided interesting information about each creature we encountered. I greatly appreciated his photographs to record our walk.
