Ok, first things first getting there take the cable car up if you can amazing views and quick trip. Only do a one way. On the way down take bus 150 takes you to Espanya metro stop where you can get buses or the metro. Montjuic is a very cool structure. I did the cheapest ticket which is entrance and an audio tour on headphones through your phone so your own headphones. The self guided tour was interesting. It was a little over an hour long and gave a good history as you walked through, on and all about the fortress. It has amazing views of Barcelona for some good pictures.
