The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour in 4/5 stops around the historical center of the city. The tourist is guided by a Foodie, a local buddy able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high quality gastronomy as a way for showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.   • Do Eat Better Experience - Naples Food Tours (Pass By)

    Within the Naples Street Food tour, we will dive deep into the stunning historical centre of the city, in a maze of highly valuable palazzos and we will visit the most loved restaurants and food shops, tasting the best variations on the street food theme in Naples.

  • Via Toledo (Pass By)

    You will start with the most traditional street food in Naples Tarallo and after that a must have: The folded pizza, also called “pizza a portafoglio” according to the technique used by locals for eating it, it must be folded several times and eaten on the go.

  • Basilica dello Spirito Santo (Pass By)

    In Naples you can't miss the famous Cuoppo, the symbol of Neapolitan street food since the 19th century, and the typical Crocchè, potato croquettes with a soft and melted heart of provola or mozzarella. A not-to-be-missed!

    Before the dessert, try the Meatballs in tomato sauce - among the best ones in Naples, to be served accompanied by freshly baked bread, impossible not to dip it in the sauce!

We owe all the good things about our Naples trip to Ciro. We arrived in the area via cruise and to be honest we initially were not too keen about the place. But our experience picked up as soon as we did the food walking tour with Ciro. Very funny guy and his passion with Neapolitan food was truly something to be admired. The best food for us is the ragu pasta. I personally prefer the creamy pasta but that tomato ragu was something special that I might be reconsidering now. Haha! Thank you Ciro for making our experience special!

From the initial interaction with the Do Eat Better company, who connected us immediately on WhatsApp to our guide Ciro, who sent a picture of himself so we could identify him at the busy square, we were well taken care of! Ciro was very knowledgeable, fun, and funny. He took our dietary restrictions into consideration, and he helped us understand the role of the various foods in the historical Napoli timeline. He encouraged our small group to interact and we all ended up really enjoying each other‘s company. It was an excellent tour. I highly recommend it!

Ciro was the best. Our tour was excellent with plenty to eat and history lessons included. It was a very crowded Sunday afternoon, but Ciro took excellent care of us. Great food, new friends, and fun times.

Ciro was an amazing guide. He was very helpful with things to do around the city as well as the best ways and times to go. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to enjoy some good food and get some amazing insight from a local!
