Overview

Make the most beautiful selfie on top off the Christoffel mountain. What better way to see the fascinating landscapes, exquisite wildlife and spectacular views of Curacao than on a Jeep Safari? Explore one the the world's most impressive National Parks on this one of a kind picturesque tour. This full day spent on an off-road 4x4 adventure in the Christoffel National Park will leave the whole family with unforgettable memories of Curacao. Lunch is not included during the lunch stop.

Itinerary

  • Flamingo Sanctuary Sint Willibrordus

    We then start the tour with a sightseeing trip to the salt planes of Plantation 'Jan Kok'. and Assecion, where we might see flamingos and where you will get a lot of information about the islands history and nature. We then continue to Boca Patrick at the norht shore with very interesting geology, bays and blowholes. We stop at some amazing spots for some good pictures.

    While sight seeing on your way to the first stop, get a lot of historical & general information about Curacao

  • Barber

    On the western part of the island Curacao we will be going off-road(light) to visit Boca Patrick at the impressive and rough northern shore of the island. Big waves, coral rock formations, tons of wind and beautiful views make this a beautiful and interesting site to visit and explore.

  • Christoffel National Park

    After enjoying a lunch (meals not included), we will continue the sight seeing tour and then enter the main park. The Christoffel National Park is a combination of beautiful nature and amazing historical sites from the time of the slave trade and huge slave plantations. We will also drive through an off road area filled with orchids, birds of prey and sometimes even deer. Other highlights of the tour are some amazing views some of them more than a 1000 feet above sea level.

    We do have special permission to visit 'The Orchid Trail' within the Christoffel Nation Park. (Orchids flowering in several periods in the year).

Best day on curacao

It was a very nice trip with Alan who showed us the best places. He knows everything about curacaos history. Time passend very fast and the Toyota Jeep was very nice.

Great way to see parts of the island you can’t without a 4x4 and local knowledge

Fantastic day exploring the island with George. Free, easy parking at the pick up location. George asked us (2 more travellers joined me and my mum) what we wanted to see and get out of our trip to make sure we maximised the experience. The northern coast waves were spectacular and so was the view from Christoffel mountain. Lovely lunch. George was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

This was a fantastic tour to take during our one day stop at Curacao. The walk from the cruise pier to the meeting place was only about 10 minutes and we got picked up right on time. We covered a lot of grounds and learned a lot about the island in the next six hours. We saw flamingos at the salt pans, visited the rugged coast of northern Curacao, and explore the Christoffel National Park. I think this tour is a much better alternative to other shore excursions offered thru the cruise line because you could see much more of this beautiful island.

Had the best day exploring Curacao with Alan and a small group on the jeep safari tour. Was on a girl's trip with my mom and we had a great booking experience through TripAdvisor; the original tour we wanted was booked but Michael from central support reached out and offered this tour instead - we're so glad we took it. The hotel pickup was smooth, and Alan was an excellent guide and driver. He's so knowledgeable about the island, it's history, and you can really tell he loves what he does. We had an awesome day and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the non-beach parts of the island!
