Quick trip to see Statue of Liberty

I was traveling with a friend from Wales who had never been to New York and thought this would be a good experience for him to see the Statue of Liberty and the bridges. Michael Spence, our guide was excellent; from telling us where to sit to get the best pictures to giving us little tidbits about getting around the city and of course the history of the bridges and The statue.

Michael Spence is a true New Yorker. Very knowledgeable, fun and passionate about his job. I was a little worried about the how the tour would be since it was a rough start from battery park but once we eventually got on the boat it was well worth it.
