Overview

For a truly memorable visit to Niagara, take a thrilling journey down the Niagara River on an open-air jet boat. There's no better - or wetter - way to enjoy the beautiful scenery and amazing white water of the Niagara River. You will experience what we like to call our white water playground where the Class V Devil's Hole Rapids will get you completely soaked. After that thrilling experience you will travel up the river to the farthest point in the trip where you will see the famous Niagara Whirlpool. The Whirlpool and Niagara Falls are separated by a stretch of Class VI rapids that are unnavigable (and illegal) to pass through. This tour departs from the Canadian side, and you return to the same location.

Meeting points

Take Dumfries St. off the Niagara Parkway, follow the road down. At the Queenston Waterfront sign, follow the road and turn left down to our parking lot. Guests are asked to arrive 45 minutes prior to trip for check in and mandatory safety briefing. Refunds will not be given for late arrivals.

Itinerary

**Please note that we do not see Niagara Falls from our tour** It's a promise: you will get soaked during this wet and wild trip to the famous white waters of the Niagara Whirlpool. Don't forget to bring along a change of clothes for after the ride, as this tour is certain to make a splash! We have disposable ponchos available, but they aren't guaranteed to keep you 100% dry. The jet boat tours are fully guided and your river guide will provide an entertaining commentary throughout your ride. The trip lasts approximately 45 minutes (from departure from the dock to return back to the dock) and may just be the most exciting tour of Niagara you will find! The Niagara Gorge Jet Boat Tour, which has been delighting visitors to Niagara for over 25 years, has been featured on CBS - Early Morning, The Amazing Race - Family Edition, the Discovery Channel, the Travel Channel and the Outdoor Life Network.

Arrive promptly 45 minutes prior to departure time to register, sign participation agreement and hear pre-trip safety orientation. If you miss the safety orientation, we will move you to the next available trip time without notice (which could be the next day) so it is important to arrive on time.
The participation agreement thoroughly explains to anyone interested in the trip, all pertinent aspects of jet-boating including personal health requirements. Refusal to sign the agreement will not merit a credit or refund.
Wheelchair accessibility - if assistance is required, passenger must provide their own carer. Guests must be able to sit on a bench seat and support themselves by holding on to a bar in-front of each seat without assistance.
Participants must meet the minimum height requirement of 44-inches tall (1.1-meter tall) - your average 6 year old.
Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult (age 18+) on the tour.
Late or no-show participants will not receive a refund. You have 24 hours prior to your trip to cancel for a full refund. Trips can be rescheduled until 24 hours before the departure at no added charge (subject to availability).
Trips rescheduled within 24 hours of the trip time will be subject to an additional 10% rebooking fee.
Guests must arrive on site via their own form of transportation - Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours is not responsible for getting you to the dock.

You will most definitely...

You will most definitely leave the boat ride completely drenched. I highly recommend this as something to do during your trip to Canada especially on a hot summer day- the cool water is very refreshing! The only thing that sucked was the parking situation- if you arrive too early you may or may not get a close spot. The parking is a huge gravel lot next to the river (great views) but if the tour before you is packed, you might have some trouble finding a spot. Besides that the tour was very interactive. You get very cozy with your neighbor on the boat so if you're claustrophobic or don't like sitting very close to someone this may not be for you. Definitely will be back next time I visit Canada!

What an incredible trip!!! Totally thrilling! Be prepared to get soaked! All made ever better because we had the sexiest Captain EVER…. Captain Jason! All the staff were so friendly and informative! Shout out for Jackie, she was also amazing!

What a fun experience! Riding through the rapids was exhilarating! They take you to the whirlpool! You do get completely soaked, which is the best part. Chris and Adam were wonderful guides. They played the best music and made sure everyone had a great time. I highly recommend this adventure.

Great Fun on Wet Jet Boat Tour

It was so much fun! We sat in the front row and were drenched. We weren't able to go on one of the rapids because it was too choppy and dangerous. I appreciated that they told us that and kept our safety in mind. We went through the other rapids a few more times to compensate. Our guide and captain were fun and did a good job addressing safety issues. You WILL GET WET!!! Just be prepared. Go! You'll love it!
