Now's the time to wine and dine in the stunning North Canterbury wine region of Waipara. Enjoy a guided tour from your pilot en route, showcasing the best of the region. A four-course lunch with wine pairing is included, and weather permitting, let's stop off on the way home with a hilltop landing! Waipara

Departing from Rangiora Airfield, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy scenic views along the way. Travelling along the braided Ashley River, you’ll venture towards the coastline and then head up towards Amberley Hills, where you can take in views of Kaikoura. Your flight continues inland to the picturesque Waipara Gorge and the renowned vineyards of Waipara Valley. The return trip offers the option of mountain top landing, which will give you stunning views overlooking the Canterbury Plains.

An amazing day out

What an amazing day out! We booked the Winery Lunch trip which was awesome but why not top it off with a flight to the Bealey Hotel at Arthurs Pass for a couple of beers! Way 2 Go Helicopters is a relaxed yet professional Company that is great to deal with. Jono is an exceptional pilot and knowledgeable guide. Our Company Director has flown with Jono twice now and will definitely use Way 2 Go Helicopters to entertain and host future clients.
