Awesome private tour
Published on Oct, 2024
A great experience! John was very friendly and informative - he knew the hits! We had a lovely time exploring around the North Shore and learning about Oahu's history and nature. We really appreciated how prepared John was (having umbrellas and water for us), and the day flew by!
Aloha and Mahalo! Amazing Tour Experience!
Published on Oct, 2024
Where to begin? John is absolutely the epitome of what you would want in a guide. Smart, witty, knowledgeable, calm! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the North shore and surrounding areas. We laughed, we took tons of pictures, we learned things you would never gain unless you studied a ton of books, which John has! I cannot recommend John and his wife, Shi, enough. I would rate 10 stars if available. Yes, we enjoyed being with John so much that we added his wife to the afternoon portion of our tour! Just go already, you will not be disappointed!!!
Private tour of North Shore and Oahu
Published on Sep, 2024
We booked a private tour with John, and what a day! He picked us up promptly at our hotel, looked over our projected itinerary, made some suggestions for changes and additions, and we were off! We toured the North Shore of Oahu: beaches, lookouts, jungle areas and Waimea Valley. John is extremely knowledgeable about the island: history, plants, infrastructure, and he loves sharing his knowledge. He knows the best places to eat, where the restrooms are (!!) and he has a sense of where you want to go. He provided water, sunscreen and bug repellant. And not least of all, he is an excellent driver. What a day to remember! Thank you, John. Mahalo and Aloha!

North Shore Private Tour Well Worth the Experience
Published on Aug, 2024
Jon from Aina Explorer was amazing. The private tour was well directed and very informative. He took the time to explain and educate so many things from plants to birds creating lasting memories.
This was not our first visit to Oahu or tour. Having a private tour we were able to customize the attractions in which we were most interested in and able to not duplicate previous experiences. Would highly recommend a private tour.
At the end of the tour he forwarded all the pictures to us of what he had taken.
Would recommend this tour to all groups of all ages.
