Witness the northern lights on this comfortable excursion starting in Tromsø together with a guide who has a passion for taking you through the search for aurora. In a modern 15-seater minibus, we venture out to the spots with the highest chance to witness the northern lights dance in the sky above. To ensure that you can enjoy the moment fully, photos will be taken for you during the tour.

Spotting the Northern Lights

The Pukka Team is the friendliest, most helpful and knowledgable people that you can get. They gave us excellent information on the northern lights and was skillful enough to help us to eventually see them although it was very cloudy. They knew when and where the clouds would lift so that we could witness the miracle. I do reccomend them for all the activities, we have done a lit of them! Thankyou to you all!

Jørgen and Federico ran an awesome bus tour. We got to see the lights dance and it was incredible. Jørgen kept us entertained while waiting for the conditions to be right for the lights to show their beauty.

I highly recommend this activity because it is with a small group and the guide, Jorgen, goes the extra mile so you can observe the Northern Lights. The driver, Nico, was also great in assisting you to make your trip memorable. Forgo the large bus tours and go with this tour. You will not regret it.

The guide is great

I've been on 3 different Northern light tours in Tromso, and I would have to say this one led by Jorgan was the best. Although the weather wasn't great, our guide and Nico (the driver) were both great. He took us to the northern point of Tromso and found spot that avoids all the big buses and the lights. We climbed a small hill with him to get to the higher spot where he made us a campfire, provided us a hearty meal (Norwegian dried meals which surprisingly were delicious), and drew us a diagram of how the northern lights work. Although the light activity wasn't strong that night, we managed to get a glimpse of her and had great conversation. He also brought along a small sled where the kids in our group has some fun sledding down the hill. Overall would definitely recommend him and Nico as the pair were funny together. Comparing the three tours, you can really tell when you have a local who's passionate about the country he lives in make all the difference.

Jørgen and Nico were exceptional hosts, very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone in the group was comfortable, had everything they needed, and felt part of the group. The experience was very inclusive and felt much more personal than other trips we had booked. The vibe and mood were very high from start to finish, even if had we not seen the northern lights we would still have enjoyed the trip. The meeting point, transport, and everything else included in the trip were all superb. Thanks for an amazing experience.
