I was booked on a group tour but there was only one other party and they did not show. That meant I had Robin as my personal guide. I told him what I wanted most was to spend unguided time at the American Cemetery and to be there while they were lowering the flag. He modified the itinerary to make that happen. Robin was knowledgeable and respectful of what these sites mean to American visitors. The one thing to be aware of is limited time at sites with a half day tour. I have visited Normandy before so I was aware of that. If you are on your first visit, I would suggest a full day tour
