You will witness the history of Las Vegas collide with the technological and artistic present of modern day Fremont. Your guide will take you on a 100+ year journey of Las Vegas from its beginnings as a small desert railroad town during the Wild West years through the glitz and glamor of the Mobbed up mid-century heyday, the transformation to the Fremont Street Experience with the construction of the world’s largest big screen Viva Vision, all the way to the contemporary public art commissions and revitalization of the East Fremont District.

Fremont Street Experience
The next five blocks will overwhelm your senses as you enter The Fremont Street Experience. This is a pedestrian mall and attraction that will put you underneath the world’s largest big screen – Viva Vision! This modern, 1,500 foot canopied screen will amaze you, as the wild visual displays can be seen crystal clear day or night.
While touring through these blocks, your guide will take you in and out of the oldest and newest casinos on Fremont Street. You’ll get to see the best sights at casinos such as Golden Nugget, Binion’s Horseshoe, Four Queens, and Circa. You’ll learn the true history of Las Vegas through these properties and get to see attractions such as a shark aquarium swimming pool, vintage coin operated slot machines, the worlds largest golden nugget, a piece of the Blarney stone, former Rat Pack hangouts, the Mob Museum, the world’s largest sports book, the neon cowboy Vegas Vic, the neon cowgirl Vegas Vickie, as well as all the classic neon lights on Fremont Street!

Casino at the El Cortez Hotel
From the newest construction on East Fremont, you will then tour through one of the oldest – El Cortez Hotel and Casino. This casino has a checkered history of being owned by one of the Mob’s most notorious figures – Bugsy Siegel. Your guide will show you the best sights in this casino, introduce you to stories of Mob rule in Vegas, and you’ll see why El Cortez is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Jordan was a great leader and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour. The education and history lesson helped us appreciate all the stories of the original strip. He was a really fun and entertaining guide. His iPad pictures were great!!

We didn't buy a tour but did explore the Fremont Street. It was amazing. We had a better time in this area than we did at the new strip area. Lots of music and performances. The place was electric and a great time.
